As of 1 January the toll rates are going to be reduced for lorries with the maximum permissible weight 12 tons and more with the emission classes 0-II, III-IV.
Bratislava, 30 December 2016 – The Government of the Slovak Republic by its Regulation No. 368/2016 (of 14 December 2016) amended Regulation No. 497/2013 Coll., which sets the manner of toll calculation, the amount of the toll rate and the system of discounts from the toll rates for the use of the specified road sections as amended by Regulation of the Government No. 448/2015 Coll. With the effect as of 1 January 2017 the Government ordered adjustment of electronic toll rates. The reduction of toll rates does not apply to all vehicles subject to toll payment.
As of 1 January the toll rates are going to be reduced for lorries with the maximum permissible weight 12 tons and more with the emission classes 0-II, III-IV. The adjustment of rates does not apply to buses or lorries up to 12 tons or lorries weighing 12 tons and more with the emission classes V, VI and EEV. The rates are going to be reduced for the relevant lorries on motorways and expressways and also 1st class roads parallel to motorways and expressways.
For lorries with the maximum permissible weight of 12 tons and more with the emission classes 0 – IV the rates are going to be reduced as of 1 January 2017 as following:
